Common Questions

Start here before opening a ticket.

How do I get my account approved?

Finish onboarding — complete your profile, upload your required license and documents, and clear any registration payment. Our team then reviews your submission and you're notified once you're verified.

When can officers apply to jobs?

Officer applications unlock after the account, license, and required documents are approved by GuardXchange.

Why can't I publish a vendor job yet?

Vendor publishing is gated until the company profile and licensing review are approved. You can still prepare draft jobs in the meantime.

My account is enabled but still says “pending review” — why?

Account access (being able to sign in) is separate from verification. Your account is enabled so you can finish onboarding while our team reviews your credentials; full access unlocks once review is complete.

Why do I need to provide my driver's license or state ID just to register?

GuardXchange requires a government-issued photo ID (driver's license or state ID) to verify your identity before you can apply for security positions. It protects employers, who need confidence that the person behind a profile is who they say they are; it protects you, by preventing others from creating fraudulent profiles in your name; and it keeps the platform trustworthy — a verified talent pool means faster hiring decisions and better job matches for everyone.

How do I add shifts to a job?

On the New Job form you can add specific dates and weekly recurring shifts. You can also add, edit, or remove shifts anytime from a job's Schedule tab.

Why don't approved vendors or officers show in the directory?

Vendors appear once they have an active subscription and a public (non-private) profile; officers appear once they have at least one verified license. Private profiles stay hidden.

How much does GuardXchange cost?

GuardXchange is free for everyone during our current beta — no charge for officers or vendors. Once we exit beta, officers pay $5/mo or $50/yr for unlimited job applications. Vendors choose a monthly tier based on hiring volume: Free ($0 — 1 job/month, with Applicant management dashboard, ZIP-code geographic matching, and Standard support); Starter ($99/mo — 5 jobs/month, with Email support); Growth ($249/mo — 20 jobs/month, with AI-powered candidate matching, SMS applicant alerts, Applicant analytics, and Priority support); Professional ($499/mo — 50 jobs/month, with Bulk job CSV import, Priority placement in search, Team member access, and Dedicated onboarding). Higher tiers include everything in the tiers below them, and extra job posts beyond your monthly limit get cheaper as you move up (from $49 each down to $19). High-volume vendors can reach out to sales@guardxchange.com for a custom Enterprise plan. You can always see current pricing on the billing page in your dashboard.

Where do billing and coupon questions go?

Paid officer and vendor accounts can submit a support ticket from their dashboard support page. Public visitors can sign in or contact the team by email.
