See how it works
The economics

Hiring without the middle layer.

Staffing agencies charge for every placement and keep the officer relationship. Generic boards send volume without verification. GuardXchange connects you directly with credential-reviewed officers — and during beta, it costs nothing to hire.

Free during beta

Vendors post jobs and manage applicants at no cost while beta access is open. The free plan starts verification review immediately — no payment required.

No recruiter fees or placement markup

Officers apply to your postings directly. There is no agency layer taking a cut of the hire or a markup on every hour worked.

Direct hiring — you own the relationship

You review credential-checked profiles, message applicants, and hire on your own terms. Every officer you hire is yours, not a staffing agency's.

AI-assisted matching on your postings

AI-assisted matching analyzes verified officers and ranks them against your job by license, certifications, skills, location, and experience — so screening starts with the best fits.

The landscape

How GuardXchange compares.

Boards built for every industry and agencies that own the relationship both leave gaps for licensed security work. Here is how the three models stack up.

Option 01

Generic job boards

Built for every industry at once, so licensed security work is treated like any other listing.

  • No jurisdictional credential verification — anyone can apply to anything
  • High applicant volume, low relevance; screening falls on you
  • No concept of coverage zones or service areas
  • Recruiter and agency reposts compete with your listing

Option 02

Staffing agencies

The agency sources and places officers for you — and sits between you and every hire.

  • Markup or placement fees layered onto every hire
  • Placements move at the agency's pace, not yours
  • The officer relationship belongs to the agency, not you
  • Limited visibility into who you're actually getting

Option 03

GuardXchange

A hiring platform built only for regulated security work, from credentials up.

  • Officer profiles reviewed against jurisdictional credential data before access
  • Direct applications — no recruiter fees or placement markup
  • ZIP-code coverage matching pairs jobs with officers who serve the area
  • AI-assisted matching ranks verified officers by license, skills, and location
What you need

Four things to get verified.

Vendor onboarding is a single form. Have these ready and verification review starts as soon as you submit.

A valid company license

Your primary company license jurisdiction, number, and expiration date, plus a photo or PDF of the license document so review can start. For example, Texas companies provide the company license regulated by the Texas DPS Private Security Program.

Company details

Company name, contact name, business email, phone, and company size — the basics officers see when they evaluate your postings.

A short company profile

A summary of your organization and the work you do, shown on your vendor profile.

Licensing attestation and signed agreement

Confirm your organization holds the licensing required to operate in the markets where you post, and sign the platform agreement.

From signup to first hire

Apply, verify, post, hire.

1. Create your Vendor account

Sign up and choose the Vendor path to begin vendor onboarding.

2. Submit company and license details

Add your business information, primary company license, and license document in one onboarding form.

3. Verification review

Your vendor profile is reviewed before posting access is enabled. While review is in progress, you can keep refining draft job posts and your vendor profile.

4. Post jobs and review pre-screened applicants

Once approved, post roles across your service areas, receive direct applications from credential-reviewed officers, and manage everything from your dashboard.

Vendor FAQ

Common questions from security vendors.

What does GuardXchange cost during beta?

GuardXchange is free for security vendors while beta access is open. The free plan starts verification review immediately with no payment. Paid plans with higher monthly posting volumes are also available at onboarding and continue through Stripe Checkout.

Do you charge recruiter or placement fees?

No. Officers apply to your postings directly on the platform. There is no recruiter markup, placement fee, or agency layer between you and the people you hire.

What do I need to get verified?

Your company details, a primary company license (jurisdiction, number, and expiration) with a photo or PDF of the license document, a licensing attestation for the markets where you post, and a signed platform agreement. Free plans start verification review when onboarding is submitted; paid plans start review after Stripe confirms payment.

Where is GuardXchange available?

GuardXchange is available across all 50 states, Washington, DC, and Puerto Rico. Licensing and employer compliance requirements still depend on the jurisdiction and role.

Who are the officers on GuardXchange?

Licensed security professionals. Every officer profile is reviewed against applicable jurisdictional credential data before access is approved, so the applicants you see have already been credential-checked.

How does matching work?

Two ways. Jobs and officers are matched by ZIP-code service areas, so your postings reach officers who actually cover the area. On top of that, AI-assisted matching ranks verified officers against a specific posting by license, certifications, skills, location, and experience.

Are there limits on how many jobs I can post?

Each vendor plan includes a monthly job posting allotment that resets every calendar month, and additional postings can be purchased from Billing when you need more.

Can I do anything while my account is under review?

Yes. While verification is in progress you can keep refining draft job posts and update your vendor profile. Officer browsing, publishing, and full vendor tools unlock once review is complete.
