Create jobs and manage applicants

Take a security job from draft to a complete posting that officers can evaluate and apply to.

Start with a draft

Open Jobs in your vendor dashboard and choose New job. You can prepare a draft while the company is awaiting approval; publishing requires the company and licensing review to be approved. Outside free beta, creating a draft counts toward your monthly posting allowance.

  1. Enter a clear title, duties, employment type and pay information.
  2. Add the coverage ZIPs for the worksite. Choose the exact license track and jurisdiction required for this job.
  3. Add dated shifts or a weekly recurring schedule with start/end times and officer openings. Check the displayed time zone.
  4. Save the draft, review its details and correct any missing fields before publishing.

Complete the publishing checks

A publishable job needs an exact officer license track, at least one coverage ZIP, and a dated or recurring shift with officer openings. The publishing control reports missing requirements. Keep personal contact details and sensitive information out of the public description.

Draft jobs are not active listings. Active jobs can accept applications while available; closed or filled jobs cannot. A job removed through moderation is hidden even if its earlier status was active. Follow the displayed moderation instructions or contact support rather than repeatedly republishing.

Use the CSV template for multiple jobs

Open Bulk upload from vendor Jobs, download the current template and follow its required columns. Review the validation results before importing. Imported vendor jobs start as drafts; a successful file upload is not publication. This is separate from the employer career-site aggregator.

Fix rejected rows and check the saved drafts after import. The current monthly allowance applies outside free beta; closing a draft does not restore a consumed post.

Review applicants and application status

Open the job's Applicants tab to review the submitted profile, credentials and shift preferences. Review the work requirements before changing an application status. Shortlisting or interviewing is a review step; it does not mean an officer has been hired. Use the job's available acceptance and confirmation controls only after checking the details.

A withdrawn application is no longer in the officer's active application workflow. A job listing, employer link click or recommendation is not an application or a confirmed hire.

Understand job and applicant notifications

New-job emails to matched officers: eligible published native jobs use credential and service-area matching. Applicant notification emails to vendors: vendors are emailed when an officer applies. These core email tools are available across vendor plans, subject to delivery and account rules. SMS alerts are not available yet.

Employer career-site listings do not enter the native new-job notification queue or officer assignment calendar. Delivery is not a promise that every officer will receive or act on a message immediately.
